The childhood years of 1990 were a magical era, filled with beloved memories and indelible emotions. It was a time when animated characters like the beloved Mickey Mouse had the power to transport us to fantastical worlds full of adventure and joy.

Mickey Mouse was a heroic mouse who taught us values such as friendship, mutual aid, and determination. Through the animated series “Mickey’s Clubhouse,” which showcased his adventures with Minnie, Donald, and Pluto, we lived endless moments of laughter and excitement with them. It was as if we had a special friend by our side, always ready to accompany us on this magical childhood adventure.

During that decade, our beloved Pokémon also made their appearance on the global stage and began capturing the hearts of children. With the TV series and collectible cards, kids had the opportunity to explore a new world full of fantastical creatures and adventures. It taught us to believe in ourselves and never give up in the face of difficulties, with friendship and love being a mix of emotions and essential factors for achieving our goals.

In addition to animated characters, cinematic phenomena such as “Star Wars” played a significant role in the geek culture of that era, bringing back to the forefront the world of Jedi and Sith. The premiere of the “Star Wars: The Prequel Trilogy” reignited the passion for science fiction films and made young fans fall in love with George Lucas’ universe.

Additionally, technology enthusiasts were thrilled with the introduction of personal computers into their homes. The first personal computers, such as the Commodore Amiga and early versions of Windows, opened up new horizons in the world of entertainment and technology. Video games became more popular than ever, with the release of gaming consoles like the Nintendo SNES and Sega Genesis taking the gaming experience to another level.

But Disney cartoons, Pokémon, and Star Wars were only a small part of this nerd and geek culture that prevailed during that era.

It was the cartoons, video games, movies, and comics that made us feel connected to the world of fantasy. It was the excitement and anticipation we felt every time we watched a new episode of our favorite series or played a new game.

The shy memories of the old video game that we tried countless times to pass the level, the first time we saw an epic film on the big screen, or the thrill that reading a comic book gave us were moments that sealed our hearts.

It was those moments that made us feel alive and adventurous.

They were the moments we experienced as children and wouldn’t trade for anything.
